I don't what people are complaining about - I love my new Acer Aspire One! It's the perfect size, the screen is bright and easy to read. I don't have any problems with my wireless connection whatsoever. My only 'adjustment' has been with the home and end keys, and maybe the flat keyboard keys themselves, but then again, it's just an adjustment. I find it just as fast, if not faster, than my home computer. Maybe people complain because they've got lightening fast computers and therefore this one is slow in comparison? The only upgrade I've purchased is a compact mouse and I love the thumb/finger action to instantly resize a page, very cool. I also purchased a laptop table so I can easily work with the mouse. The battery life has been awesome, lasting me most of the day, plus it only takes a short time to recharge to full power once plugged in. Overall, I love it!!

I researched the web for 2 days looking for the perfect netbook. I found it! I needed something small and quick for school, and fast enough for my web, music, and video entertainment needs. this laptop is GREAT. The keyboard is the PERFECT size and the screen is so great! I am a member of MSDNAA and I have access to Windows 7, I upgraded the OS to 7 and it is quick responsive and has had NO problems at all
Windows has always been really bad at telling the proper battery power remaining. I have been using this for a 4 hour class, 3 hours at home in the living room and 1 hour watching [...] TV shows. the entire time Windows saying I only had 2 hours left on a full charge. I am writing this review with "39 min remaining" and it is still going strong. BEST BATTERY LIFE!

The perfect little netbook!!October 30, 2009 A. Strader(Chicago) I'll keep it simple. We wanted a little netbook to primarily to use while sitting in front of the TV or while we traveled. This was the perfect purchase for us. Most of our activities on this little guy is surfing the internet, but from time to time we will watch a movie or listen to music while on a plane.
The screen size is great. The battery is unbelievable. Connecting to the internet and home network was a snap. We highly recommend this netbook to anyone that wants a great value while keeping the cost low.

Acer Aspire One - works fine - great serviceOctober 23, 2009 Thomas W. Wahl(Sugar Land) OK, I was worried about speed running Vista on a 1.3mhz processor but with the 2gb memory is runs just fine for the surfing and MS 2007 Word the machine is used for.
Awesome battery life! Readable screen - the 10 inch models are just a little to small for me.
One problem when the machine arrived the charger did not work. Customer Service was great and FAST - turned out it was the last item we looked - the power cord - which was unbelievable but that is what it was. I had never owned an ACER but based on their customer service I would NOT hesitate to buy another.
